I would hope Alabama does not have to use Montana today against either UCF or Indiana. The Hoosiers are the worst team they're going to see in Clearwater, so we need to see what the backup pitchers can do today so that Montana can fully rest for the matchup with Florida State Sunday night.

And Jaala gets the start against UCF. I personally would've thought they would've started Salter here, and then Torrence or Esman for Indiana, but we'll see
Well... bringing Montana in in a 5-5 game in the 5th inning.
Glad she finally got some rest in game 4. Very helpful for the whole staff that Esman was able to pitch the whole game and only had to throw 60 pitches.I hope Montana's arm doesn't fall off by April.
Random side note: I'm not sure if anyone else noticed, but KJ Haney wasn't in uniform all weekend. I'm assuming it's probably some kind of injury, but I will try to get confirmation this week.
