Kern also earned a spot in the finals in doubles at the ITF J4 Schifflange, where she suffered a heartbreaking three-set 10-point tiebreak loss. Kern also saw success at the German National Championships, finishing as the tournament runner-up.

Comments From Assistant Coach Jonatan Berhane

“Rebeka will be a great addition to our team. She is determined to get better, and she has the hunger to train and play matches. It’s remarkable that she’s been one of the best junior players in Germany with the limited amount of matches she has been able to play. We believe that her best tennis is in front of her and can’t wait to have her here on campus. Roll Tide.”
